I totally do this too! But it generally takes the form of post it notes, all over my desk, bedside table, etc.
Something I forgot to mention in that Vonnegut post—on the back page of the book I’m reading, I make a reading list of books mentioned that I want to check out. (I saved people the trouble in Steal and put a reading list in the back of the book…)
